Quick and Robust 45 Minute Meal
Cooking directions
- First, heat oil in a 4-quart pot, brown the ground meat thoroughly over medium high heat.
- Stir in the classic chili mix packet for 30 seconds then, add in tomatoes, broth, vinegar. and sugar. Reduce heat to simmer.
- Next, cover and simmer on low 30 minutes.
- Remove the whole pepper before serving the chili with cornbread.
- Add cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, and sour cream to the top if you like.
- Makes about 6 servings.
Additional items needed to make this chili
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1-1 ½ lbs ground chuck
- 12 oz beef broth
- 14.50 oz can petite diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar
- Serve with optional 1/2 tsp each of salt and freshly ground black pepper
