The Dutch Kettle Apple Butter is shipped in a clear 18-ounce glass jar. Therefore, each jar is individually packaged to ensure safe delivery to you.

Our pecan apple butter is a concentrated form of applesauce created by slowly cooking the apples, stirring occasionally, with cider or water until the sugars in the apples caramelize. As a result, the puree continues to slowly cook, giving the apple butter its rich, sweet flavor and dark color.

However, in contrast to what the name implies, there is no butter in apple butter. A hint of warm cinnamon spice, but mostly it just tastes like great flavored apples.

Spread the apple butter on toast, or bagels, and is great on a sandwich. Try our caramel pecan apple butter in your oatmeal, on pancakes and waffles, and as a dip for a charcuterie board. Use it as a glaze for roast pork, in homemade ice cream, and as a substitute for applesauce in your baked goods.
