Cooking directions

In a 4-qt pot, bring broth and water to a boil.
Reduce the heat and stir in the soup mix, chicken, and salsa.
Return to a simmer, cover, and cook for an additional 25 minutes.
Serve the soup as is, or with tortilla chips on top.
Makes about 9 servings

Additional items need to make the tortilla soup

6 cups of chicken broth
1 cup of water
2 or 3 cups of shredded cooked chicken breast
12-16 ounces of your favorite salsa
Optional items: 4 ounces of tortilla chips, crumbled, or tortilla strips
