Dutch Kettle Amish Homemade Style Frog Jam - A Sweet, Fruity Jam with a Zesty Ginger Twist

Don’t let the name fool you—there are no frogs in this jar! Dutch Kettle Amish Homemade Style Frog Jam is a wonderfully unique old-fashioned fruit spread made with a delicious combination of sweet figs, tart red raspberries, bright orange peel, and a gentle touch of ground ginger.

The flavor starts with the familiar sweetness of ripe red raspberries and figs, followed by a little citrusy brightness from the orange peel. Ground ginger adds a warm, lightly spicy finish that makes this jam pleasantly different from everyday berry preserves. The result is a sweet, fruity, slightly tangy jam with a subtle citrus and ginger flavor that keeps you coming back for another taste.

How Do You Use Frog Jam?

Frog Jam is right at home wherever you would use your favorite fruit jam. Spread it generously on toast, biscuits, English muffins, bagels, pancakes, waffles, or warm homemade bread. It's especially delicious alongside peanut butter for a unique twist on the classic PB&J.

Looking for something a little different?

Spoon Frog Jam over cream cheese and serve with crackers for an easy appetizer, or use it as a glaze for pork, chicken, or baked ham. It also makes a wonderful filling for thumbprint cookies, pastries, and other homemade treats.

Whether you're spreading it on breakfast toast or adding a sweet finishing touch to dinner, Dutch Kettle Frog Jam brings a little old-fashioned Amish country goodness to the table.

Ingredients: Cane sugar, water, red raspberries, figs, orange peel, pectin, citric acid, and ground ginger.

What Are Amish Homemade Style Jams?

Amish homemade style jams are traditional fruit spreads made using simple ingredients and time-honored methods, resulting in a thicker texture and more pronounced fruit flavor than mass-produced jams.

Each jar is carefully prepared in small batches to preserve the natural taste of the fruit, creating a spread that feels like it came straight from a country kitchen.

This FROG jam reflects a slower, more intentional way of making food—where quality matters more than speed.
