• How to Use this spice packet for delicious dishes:

• For Dipping Oil: Mix 1 Tablespoon Tuscan Spice Mix in 1/4 cup olive oil. Dip bread into mixture. Enjoy as an appetizer or accompaniment to a pasta dish.
• For Tuscan Potatoes: Wash and cut up to four potatoes into one inch cubes. Add potatoes, 2 Tablespoons of olive oil, and 1 Tablespoon of Tuscan Spice Mix. Mix thoroughly. Place on baking dish or large skillet. Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 45 minutes until done. If using skillet, cook covered over medium high heat for 35 minutes or until done. Serve and Enjoy
• For a Whole Chicken: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash a whole chicken. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon Tuscan Spice Mix into chicken cavity. Rub whole chicken with olive oil and rub 2 Tablespoons Tuscan Spice Mix onto the skin of the chicken. Bake according to size of chicken until done. Serve and enjoy!

Tuscan White Pizza Recipe

• 1 prepared pizza crust 
• 2 tablespoons olive oil 
• 2 Tablespoons Tuscan Spice Mix 
• 1 large tomato, sliced thin 
• 1 medium onion, sliced thin
• 1 Cup cheese, shredded (your choice)

Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush pizza crust with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place tomatoes on crust, top with onion rings and cheese. Drizzle the other tablespoon of olive oil on top of cheese and sprinkle the remaining Tuscan Spice Mix over cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is cooked. Cut into wedges and enjoy. 

Evelyn's Elegant Edibles were inspired by holiday dinners at my grandmother's (yiayia) house. I come from a large Greek family and I have fond memories of the unique dishes prepared for the holidays. Because of the hours of preparation and the unique ingredients, we only had certain dishes, like Yiayia's Special Occasion Rice on these occasions. Our goal was to replicate her recipe with the same quality ingredients and great taste without all of the work so we can have these dishes at anytime.
