What is the difference between Jelly and Jam? Jam is made from mashed fruit, while Jelly is made from strained fruit juice. Jellies will not contain any pieces of fruit. So, our Jams have chunky fruit with seeds while our Jellies are seedless and have a smooth texture.

A third type is called preserves. Preserves will actually contain large pieces of fruit in each jar.

It sits near Asheville, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Our family business began in 1961 as the Sugar Shack. We now operate under the name Blue Ridge Jams.
