Time-Honored Flavor from a Simpler Era—Deep, Dark Molasses Cookies the Old-Fashioned Way

Step back in time with Old School Brand® Molasses Cookie Mix—a recipe that traces its roots to the early 1800s, when molasses was an everyday pantry staple and sugar was a costly luxury. Bakers of that era relied on the deep, caramel-like sweetness of molasses to stretch their precious sugar supply, creating cookies that were hearty, fragrant, and rich in flavor.

Our mix captures that same old-fashioned goodness. Crafted with ingredients authentic to the period, it bakes into soft, chewy cookies that fill your kitchen with the warm aroma of a 19th-century country home. Each bite delivers the robust, slightly spiced sweetness that made these treats a family favorite more than 150 years ago—perfect for anyone who longs for the comforting taste of true Americana.
