Homemade Pie Crust Recipe

• One 12-ounce bag of Southern Pie Crust Mix
• 1/2 cup butter or shortening
• 8-9 tablespoons at a time of ice water

Using a fork or pastry blender, cut the butter into crust mix until the mixture is loose crumbs. Spoon in the cold water, mixing to make a dough. Divide dough into fourths. On a floured surface, roll a segment of dough to the size of the pan.

Place in a greased pie pan, and pour in the desired filling. Roll the second segment for the top. Now your pie is ready to bake. This pie recipe yields two flaky pie crusts.
