 What You Need to Add to the Cornbread Mix

• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup buttermilk (8 oz.)
• 2 large eggs

Baking Instructions

• Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 
• Blend eggs and buttermilk in a mixing bowl.
• Stir in Cornbread mix.
• Melt butter in an 8 x 8 inch baking pan in the oven.
• Remove pan, swirl butter around to coat inside of heated pan.
• Stir the remainder of melted butter into the batter and pour into a preheated pan.
• Bake 18-25 minutes until firm on top and lightly brown.
• Tip: Generally, the heavier the pan the longer it should bake.
• Serve with chili or soup for supper or with butter and hot syrup for breakfast.
